Pre-surgery specialist psychological screening for clinics
With increasing recommendations for pre-surgery specialist psychological input for cosmetic surgery patients our psychological screening helps you to explore the expectations and goals of your patients. The aim is to reduce the probability of dissatisfaction and distress for your patient, and subsequently your clinic.
We identify patients who may be unsuitable for surgery or need more therapeutic input. Sometimes there are underlying psychological issues around appearance, which, if ignored, carry substantial risk. We know how to measure those issues and risks, and what to do about them if they occur. We do not make the decision whether or not surgery is suitable for a patient.
We provide you with all the information and support you need to make an informed choice.
Helping you make informed choices
Our assessment tool is based on NICE guidelines and clinical observations from psychologists and psychiatrists working with expert surgeons and consultant practitioners. It has been successfully piloted in vivo. Our screening process is tailored to you and the level of feedback that you need.
Our aim is to make your life easier and to help you protect your practice and your patients in compliance with the Health and Care Professionals Council and the British Psychological Society.
Our system
For clarity and simplicity we use a colour coding system as part of our reporting procedure.

Effective Analysis
As highly trained psychologists with many years’ experience, we are experts in asking difficult questions and handling delicate issues. Our training allows us to sensitively draw out the information we need to ensure the needs of your patient are clearly understood and fulfilled.
Gathering such a base of information also means that if you wish, we have the potential to conduct longitudinal follow up analysis of effectiveness and treatment outcome.
